"The Minnesota Poison Control System is designated by the Minnesota Department of Health since 1982 to provide emergency poison management and poison prevention information to the citizens of the State of Minnesota."

The primary service component of the system is the Hennepin Regional Poison Center (HRPC) located at the Hennepin County Medical center in Minneapolis. HRPC is certified as a Regional Poison Control Center by the American Association of Poison Control Centers.

Your state’s poison center cooperates with other poison centers in the region to form the "Midwest Regional Poison Interest Group" (MR PIG)
